Erica Fleer Richter
Erica Richter has over 13 years of construction management experience specialized in the New York metropolitan area market. Prior to joining Watershed, she was the Director of Construction for Theory, the retail brand based in New York City.
Erica brings to Watershed her experience on the general contractor side of the business and almost a decade of experience on the owner side of the industry. She started her career with Artimus Construction, as a project coordinator assisting the team with major ground up residential properties in upper Manhattan. Erica was an assistant project manager for Constructomics, a New York boutique general contractor where she was the onsite project manager for the condo conversion of the Manhattan House along with other high end residential and retail projects.
As a project manager on the renovations team at Equinox, Erica was able to navigate the delicate terrain of open shop renovations while self-performing projects. During her time at Tory Burch Erica was responsible for their expansion at the Americana Manhasset as well as over 10 other domestic new locations. She oversaw international projects for brand in England, France, Italy, Middle East and the Caribbean.
During her tenure at Theory Erica helped to open several high profile projects. Most recently the new Theory at Hudson Yards and a new West coast flagship in San Francisco on Geary Street. As the Director of Construction, Erica was responsible the entire lifespan of each project from site selection and lease negotiation, drawing development, purchasing, bidding and award, construction management, turnover and closeout.
Erica’s owner’s side experience allows her to be a great asset to any project as she understands the challenges the client faces and comprehends the importance of creating a finished product that will be sustainable for years to come.
